In line with the Diriyah Company’s focus on sustainable development and high quality of healthy life, Wadi Safar has received the first Gold Pre-Certification awarded in the Middle East by the Sustainable SITES Initiatives (SITES®) - a rating system that evaluates a Project’s sustainability across planning, design, construction, and landscape management.

Wadi Safar is recognized as one of the Kingdom’s premier natural sites and joins a growing list of SITES certified projects across the United States, Japan, Brazil, China and Canada in achieving this certification.

SITES certification reflects a project's commitment to sustainability, improving health and wellness, and protecting and restoring nature. Through this achievement, Wadi Safar masterplan was recognized for enhancing land development and management practices and actively addressing increasingly urgent global concerns such as climate change, loss of biodiversity and resource depletion.
